If the Answer is YES, then Helena Chemical Company may be a great fit for your future.   As the Administrative Assistant, you will assist the Area Managers and their team in their strategic planning and daily operations of the Division.  

As a successful Administrator you will be responsible for coordinating reports, meetings and long term planning for the second largest agricultural distribution company of pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, seed and AGRIntelligence in the United States.

SUMMARY:

Proactively manages administrative duties for Area Managers and members of the team.  Offers support to field locations through clear communication of plans, procedures and deadlines.

 

JOB SKILLS AND SCOPE:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Compiles multiple statistical sales reports for analyzing purposes
  • Schedules and plans meetings and customer forums as necessary, preparing agendas and supportive materials, hiring speakers and tracking attendees
  • Assists with disbursement and collection of information to and from Branch Managers and location personnel
  • Maintains and manages Area Managers calendars proactively providing information and assistance
  • Makes travel arrangements for department personnel
  • Assists with on-boarding of new sales representatives and processes field requests for IT equipment
  • Composes and types routine correspondence and processes incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma and three to five years work related experience.

 

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

Excellent computer skills including proficiency in the Microsoft Office package required with a high emphasis on Excel; exceptional written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational skills; and the ability to handle confidential information.
